Cubase, Reason & …
Cubase, Reason & Ableton are the best. And if you are using MAC it’s Logic.
Best is to make your arrangement in (one of) those programs and then to make your final mixing, mastering, etc in Pro-Tools, because it has the best audio.

I agree, reason’s …
I agree, reason’s sound engine is not so good but run it through logic, cubase or pro tools and it sounds amazing. I do how ever think that reasons samplers and synths sound amazing and there are so many ways to tweak because of endless ways of virtual signal routing and parameters. Pro Tools 8 and Reason 4.

Try Fruity…..It’ll take a while to make high class music, but the investment is worth it. It gives you a jumpstart into the music world. And, it’s fun. ;D

There is no comparison to Logic Pro. He’s right. I’m a former ProTools user and even I’ve made the switch. That program is as complete as any studio out there. Kudos to Apple.

If u got it in the house like I DO no studio time, no overhead cost, record and produce on the fly, and create a near perfect finished product. 0$ an hour vs.$50 or more an hour.
