Hi electronic music lovers out there. I want to give you a little view behind the scenes of our music productions. This project is very special in this case!
We got a little discussion with some guys about music production and what programs suits.
After talking about the usual progs like, Cubase, Logic, Ableton those guys really said… FL Studio won´t fit in this case of professional music production software…..
Have to say we also use other progs the main time because of several reasons but not because of the widely spread myth “FL Studio got a bad audio quality”…! Because I´m a “FL Studio lover” of the early days (I would never had started making music without FL), and this “MYTH” I want to prove the power of this program to those who got no idea what they are talking about and also to check our producing skills! So we decided to produce this whole track in FL Studio ONLY this time!
If you know how… there is no problem of creating professional music with FL.

This video helps you hear the effect of processing the fast attack transients of a snare drum separately from the sustain/ambient portion of the snare drum.
The kick drum is then eq’d, and you get to hear the before/after that results.

In this Audio Mastering Tutorial, I will be using the UAD-1 Fairchild for a mastering compressor, along with a Steinberg “loudness maximizer” and the Free Aradaz Maximizer to finish off this sample session.
Keep in mind that the “loudness maximizer” is not a tool to be used for all high-end mastering projects: it has it’s place, but not often. It is used here bc it is easy to translate what it does via the quality of the video. The Aradaz plug-in is also not the best choice for master-limiting, but it is an excellent free tool and I prefer promoting it over well-known plug-ins that cost too much and some that have an unimaginable ‘upgrade plan’.
