Ok, so I love Rock/Metal/Heavy Metal music. I also have tons of ideas for songs that run through my head almost 24/7. Thing is…I’m not in a band. But, I do have a computer so a mic, So now all I’m looking for is software to help me make the music. I’ve tried some stuff such as "Fruit Loops" but it doesn’t work for me because that software is mainly for making beats and Rap Music. I need something for a rocker like myself.I don’t have a mac otherwise, I’d use Garage Band. I do have a PC. So do you know of any good music software for a PC user?

I don’t play the guitar or any instrument.
The best musical talent I have as far as instruments go is…Guitar Hero. 
Ok you can use cubase sx3 or 4.0. It is a great program but it’s about 500-700 bucks. But I’d say it’s well worth it if you are serious about this. Also adobe audition 3 is good but it’s probably more complex to use. It is a little cheaper then cubase. Another program would be wavelab 6. It is also a good program. These are just a few but I think that they are the best. If you do get one of these programs I would recommend going for some classes on how to use them .
