I have no idea what would be best. I know of apple logic, presonus studio one, and fl studio.
Any better suggestions? Or if not, which of these 3 are best?
If you have a PC, I would definitely recommend FL Studio. It is excellent for music production. I have been using it for years, and it is still my number 1 program for music. I recommend trying out the demo to make sure you like it.
If you like the demo and want to get the full version, here is a promo link for new customers that will give you an automatic 10% discount on the software: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416
There a a few versions you can choose from. I recommend the Producer Edition because it has all the features you need to make professional music. Plus it comes with free lifetime updates which means whenever a new version is released, you get to upgrade for free!
When recording and mixing drums, either use an ambient and overhead miking technique, or try a tight miking method to record each drum individually. Hear the difference between overhead and tightly miked drums with information from an independent recording engineer and producer in this free video on music recording.

I’ve already tried Audacity, but I’m looking for something better, something with new interface, a software that i can mix in as many tracks that i want.
Free and professional is a contradiction in terms..
You won’t get better than Audacity for free.
It is a multi-track recording and editing program so why can’t you mix multiple tracks with it?
I’m trying to decide which audio production & recording software I should use to create a dynamic captivating sound. These three seemed to be the most popular demands: Sonic Producer, FL Studio and GoldWave.
Since, I’m limited with time; I’m trying to find a free trial. I’m unable to find a free trial of Sonic Producer, so therefore I’m trying to choose between FL Studio and GoldWave.
The following questions answered would be really appreciated—NO BIAS:
1.)Pros and Cons to: FL Studio and GoldWave
2.)Which one is easier to use?
3.)Better buy and overall performance?
(No other suggestions are necessary, but if anyone also happens to know how I can activate a free trial of Sonic Producer, please tell me)
Thank you!
I have used FL Studio for years and I would definitely recommend it. It is easy to use and it has all the features needed to make professional music. It is also a great deal because they give you free lifetime updates so every time a new version comes out, you get to upgrade for free. You can even save 10% on the software with this promotional link for the official online store: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416 Try out the demo and if you like it, save on the full version with that link. I recommend the Producer Edition so you get all the features of the program.

When James goes out to give Reason presentations and demos, he gets one question more often than anything else: “How do I hook up this very cool Vocoder that makes no sound when I try to use it?” Vocoders are neat but they don’t work the way we’re used to synths working at first glance. There are no oscillators or LFOs… there are instead Carriers and Modulators… bands… and other weirdness. But this week James breaks it all down simply and he’ll have you getting in touch with your inner-robot in no time!

Hi guys, since i’m not sure what to name on this topic, i call it music software.
however for guys who have yamaha electric piano or others brand , the electric piano not only can be played like a piano but also with special effects, however I’m looking for a application that does similar stuff, I’ve tried Magix Music Maker and FL Studio.
I used to use a tracker program called modplug tracker and one called Impulse Tracker. Those might still be available, but there’s one I’d love to try called Renoise.
http://www.renoise.com is the address. It’s a full featured tracker and comes with all kinds of extras, so basically it’s a recording studio in a box. Runs on Mac, Windows, and Unix.
Hope that helps,
David
